first subscription to, or use of, the site. GNM reserves
the right to change these terms and conditions at any time,
via postings on this site. It is your responsibility to
review any changes to these terms and conditions. Your
continued use of this site after changes are posted
constitutes your acceptance of this agreement as modified

Where
you are invited to submit any contribution to this site you
are required by such submission to grant GNM a perpetual,
royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicenseable right and
license to use, reproduce, modify and exercise all
copyright and publicity rights with respect to any such
work and/or to incorporate it in other works in any media
now known or later developed for the full term of any
rights that may exist in such content. If you do not wish
to grant such rights to GNM, it is suggested that you do
not submit your contribution to this site. By submitting
your contributions, you also warrant that such contribution
is;
- your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to GNM for all the purposes specified above;
- is not defamatory; and
- does not infringe any law.
If you fail to abide by these Terms and Conditions, you will be formally warned by email. If after this warning you continue to breach the Terms and Conditions, you may be permanently excluded from the site. GNM reserves the right to remove any posting, at any time, for any reason.

'KAZ', the KAZ Phrases are Trademarks of Gotham New Media Ltd. The design, layout, graphics, images, logos and text used in this web site along with all underlying software code, programs and applications and all other material and intellectual property are all copyright of GNM Publishing Ltd (GNM) and may not be copied in part or in whole. We use plagarism software to track misuse and will take any and all legal action necessary to pursue infringements and damage claims. Material may not be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcast or transmitted in any way except for your own personal non-commercial home use. Any other use requires prior written permission. You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes, and not to undertake behaviour which is unlawful, or which may harass any person. You agree not to transmit offensive content or disrupt the normal flow of dialogue within this site.
Payment Methods
We accept credit and debit card payments including Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. You are also welcome to place orders by telephone, fax or post.
Credit Card Security
All credit card payments are processed by Secure Trading using their secure web pages which use 128 bit encryption. We do not store any credit card information.
Currencies
All purchases through the shops will be charged to your card in the currency stated in the shop you have chosen for your country.
If your local currency differs from that shown, you should go back to the KAZ home page and select the most appropriate shop for your own country.
If your currency is unavailable, we recommend you choose the USA shop and pay in US dollars. Your card issuer will convert the US dollar price into your own currency. The amount appearing on your card statement will depend upon their exchange rate and transaction charges.
Tax Charges
Orders placed within the UK or the European Union are subject to 17.5% value added tax (VAT). The prices shown within the KAZ UK store include VAT.
Orders for KAZ Online Accounts and Downloaded Software
Activation codes for KAZ online accounts and dowloaded software are mailed immediately following your credit card payment.
In most cases the codes can be used immediately to activate your online account or KAZ software.
In a few cases with larger orders or where there has been a problem during the card authorisation process, the activation codes will not work until they have been released by a member of our accounts team.
Orders for KAZ CDROM Versions
Prices include shipping and handling. We will normally send your order to you in 3 business days . International orders are generally received in under 8 business days.
KAZ CDROM versions do not require activation codes.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you.
Cancellation
The operation of activating your KAZ online account or Kaz on your computer using the key sent to you constitutes both the start of performance and the act of unsealing a product.Consequently, no right of cancellation may be exercised for downloaded or online KAZ products once they have been activated. You may cancel your order by telephone or email up to the time that the product has been activated, thereafter cancellation is not possible.If purchasing a KAZ CD-ROM, you may cancel your order by telephone or email up to the time that the product has been mailed, thereafter cancellation is not possible.
Returns
In the event that your KAZ CD ROM is faulty, please return it in its original packing together with your receipt of purchase from Gotham New Media Ltd within 30 days of purchase. In the case of a faulty CD ROM, we will replace it free of charge. If the CD ROM is not faulty we will return it to you.
Guarantee
We guarantee the KAZ CD ROM will be free from defects under normal use for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase.
With respect to the KAZ Software, Gotham New Media disclaims all warranties other than the above limited warranty by Gotham New Media, either express or implied including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Gotham New Media does not warrant that the course will meet the user's requirements or that the operation of the course will be error free. In particular Gotham New Media does not warrant that end users will achieve touch-typing skills in 90 minutes as times vary from person to person. The complete KAZ course takes an average of 4 hours plus practice.
Any use of the KAZ Software on the user's computer equipment or in connection with the user's information system(s) or operations is at the user's sole risk and the user shall be responsible for the installation of the KAZ Software, it's compatibility and effect on the user's computer hardware, software, information system(s) or operations.
Whilst Gotham New Media will endeavour to ensure that its KAZ Software and the method by which it is distributed is free from viruses, the user shall bear the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the same, both prior to installation on its computer systems and subsequently during everyday use.
Limitation on Damages
In no event shall Gotham New Media be liable for any damages whatsoever (including without limitation, damages for loss of profit, business interruption, loss of information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of the installation of, the use of, or inability to use the KAZ Software, even if Gotham New Media have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event Gotham New Media's liability for any reason exceed the actual price paid for the licence to use the KAZ Software.
